1. Introduction
This document sets out the official Leave, Attendance, and Holiday Policy for all employees of PK Learnings . The policy is designed to promote workplace discipline, ensure operational continuity, and maintain a fair and transparent working environment across all departments.
All employees are required to read, understand, and comply with the guidelines contained herein. The policy is effective immediately upon communication and applies to all full-time, part-time, and contractual staff unless otherwise specified.
2. Attendance & Punch-In Policy
Regular and punctual attendance is a fundamental expectation for all employees. The following rules govern daily attendance and time recording:
2.1 Standard Working Hours
The official working hours commence at 9:30 AM to 5.30 PM. Employees are expected to be present and ready to begin work at this time. All employees must record their attendance electronically using the designated biometric or digital punch-in system.
2.2 Punch-In Rules & Leave Impact
- Punching after 9:30 AM for 3 days will be considered as half-day leave.
- Punching after 10:00 AM will be considered as half-day leave.
- Punching after 1:30 PM will be considered as full-day leave
3. Break & Lunch Time Policy
Defined break periods are necessary to ensure employee wellbeing while maintaining operational efficiency. The following rules apply to all employees:
3.1 Lunch Break
- Official lunch break: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (maximum 1 hour)
- Employees are expected to return to their workstations by 2:00 PM sharp
- Lunch break duration cannot be accumulated or carried forward to other break periods
3.2 Additional Breaks
- Any break exceeding 30 minutes requires prior permission from the Reporting Officer.
These rules are being implemented to ensure workplace discipline and smooth operations. Non-compliance may lead to leave deductions as per company policy.
